A cappella ensembles are thriving at the University of Arizona! The groups, listed below, are 100% student-led organizations with students responsible for everything from arranging and administrating to rehearsing and performing. As student led organizations, those interested in joining are encouraged to read below and inqire directly.

Amplified

Amplified A Cappella was founded in 2012 by Michelle Heusser and Marissa Lovett, both students at the time. Their co-ed group performs both at the University of Arizona and in the Tucson community. Like the other ensembles listed here, they also compete in the International Competition for Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA).

Their mission is to spread the word about a cappella music through our dedication to deliver fun, unique, and beautiful harmonies. We look forward to connecting with our AmpliFans and cannot wait to share what we have in store!
